AlkaBoost™ is our top-performing CIP caustic cleaner: a concentrated, very low-foam CIP cleaner additive that you mix with 50% caustic soda (sodium hydroxide). It dissolves readily without long mixing or heating, and gives your caustic ultra-low surface tension for fast wetting, strong hard-water control, and help with mineral scale such as beerstone and milkstone, so soils lift and rinse away faster. How AlkaBoost™ Works as a CIP Cleaner

AlkaBoost™ is an additive, not a ready-to-use product. It’s mixed with 50% caustic soda (sodium hydroxide), not used in place of it:

1. Blend: mix AlkaBoost™ with 50% caustic soda (sodium hydroxide) at 10% AlkaBoost™ to 90% caustic by weight to make the concentrated caustic solution.
2. Dilute: dilute that concentrate to your working strength (for example, 3% active sodium hydroxide).
3. Clean: run your normal CIP cycle. Fast wetting and hard-water control help the caustic reach, lift and rinse away soils and scale.
