OxiVantage LF™ Product Description

High Foam CIP Surfactant OxiVantage HF™ is a high-performance high foam CIP surfactant engineered for industrial cleaning. This advanced high foam CIP surfactant is readily soluble in sodium hypochlorite (bleach) as well as other mild oxidizers. For example, it works perfectly with hydrogen peroxide, peracetic acid, and chlorine dioxide. Moreover, it delivers the lowest known surface tension properties of any commercial bleach stable surfactant or peroxide stable surfactant system.

Formulated as a 40–41% active proprietary blend, OxiVantage HF™ high foam CIP surfactant provides rich, stable high foam and rapid dynamic surface tension reduction. Therefore, it ensures superior wetting on hydrophobic surfaces. In addition, this high foam CIP surfactant serves as the ideal spray-cleaning additive and formulation base for food processing, brewery, dairy, and institutional programs.

With a clear light-amber appearance, bland odor, specific gravity of 0.9659, and neutral pH of 8.0, this high foam CIP surfactant mixes effortlessly into alkaline, acidic, or oxidative cleaners. As a result, it remains fully stable and effective during use.

Key Features of OxiVantage HF™ High Foam CIP Surfactant

  • Industry-Leading High Foam Performance — 168 mm foam in Ross Miles testing. Thus, OxiVantage HF™ is the perfect high foam CIP surfactant for spray, high-pressure recirculation, and Clean-In-Place systems that benefit from rich foam coverage.
  • Ultra-Low Surface Tension — Achieves 19.22 dynes/cm in bleach solutions. Consequently, it offers the lowest known performance from any commercial high foam bleach stable surfactant or peroxide stable surfactant system.
  • Fast Wetting & Spreading — Quick dynamic surface tension lowering delivers superior penetration on fats, oils, and proteins.
  • Broad Oxidizer Compatibility — Fully stable in bleach, hydrogen peroxide, peracetic acid, chlorine dioxide, and highly alkaline or acidic solutions. Therefore, it is the ultimate oxidizer stable high foam CIP surfactant and peracetic acid surfactant.
  • Proven Efficiency Gains — Can reduce NaOCl consumption or cleaning cycle time by as much as 50%.
  • Clean Label & Regulatory Friendly — Does not contain California Proposition 65 chemicals, GMOs, or allergens. Additionally, it meets Kosher guidelines and is listed on Canadian DSL Inventory.
  • Light Color & Minimal Odor — Ideal for premium cleaners where appearance and scent matter.
  • Excellent Foam Cling & Coverage — Rich, stable foam provides superior vertical cling, extended contact time, and visual confirmation of full surface coverage.

Recommended Applications for High Foam CIP Surfactant

OxiVantage HF™ high foam CIP surfactant excels in many industries. For instance, it performs exceptionally in food processing and sanitation, brewery and draft beer line cleaning, dairy CIP systems, poultry and egg processing, car and truck washing, pulp and paper production, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and institutional hard-surface cleaners. Furthermore, it suits any spray or oxidative program that requires a high foam CIP surfactant, bleach stable surfactant, peroxide stable surfactant, sodium hypochlorite surfactant, or peracetic acid surfactant.

Why Facilities Choose OxiVantage HF™ High Foam CIP Surfactant

Backed by IG Chemical Solutions’ U.S. manufacturing and full technical support, OxiVantage HF™ combines unmatched oxidizer stable high foam CIP surfactant performance with rich, stable high foam. As a result, it delivers proven results in real-world CIP and oxidative cleaning. Therefore, it outperforms standard surfactants while helping you lower chemical usage and shorten cycle times.

Formulation Tips

For best results, OxiVantage HF™ should be formulated at a use level of 2000 ppm (or 0.20% by weight) use level in the cleaner’s final working solution. For example, if a 5% sodium hypochlorite-based cleaner concentrate is designed to be diluted to a 1% active sodium hypochlorite level (which would indicate a 20% dilution in water) then 1% OxiVantage HF™ would need to be added to the Sodium Hypochlorite-Based Cleaner Concentrate in order to have a 2000 ppm (or 0.20% by weight) level of OxiVantage HF™ in the final 20% by weight use dilution with water.

Frequently Asked Question

FAQ

What are CIP chemical additives?
CIP (Clean-In-Place) chemical additives are substances used in the cleaning process of equipment and piping systems without disassembly. They enhance cleaning efficiency by breaking down soils, removing deposits, and preventing scale and corrosion.
How do CIP chemical additives improve cleaning efficiency?
CIP chemical additives enhance cleaning efficiency by reducing the time and effort required for cleaning. Some additives improve soil removal and rinsability, while others prevent scale buildup and corrosion, resulting in shorter cleaning cycles and reduced water and energy usage.
How often should CIP chemical additives be used in the cleaning process?
The frequency of using CIP chemical additives depends on the specific cleaning requirements and the level of soil and deposit buildup in the equipment. Regular use as part of a scheduled maintenance program is recommended to maintain optimal cleanliness and equipment performance.
Can CIP chemical additives be customized for specific cleaning needs?
Yes, CIP chemical additives can often be customized to address specific cleaning challenges and requirements. Consulting with us can help determine the best formulation and combination of additives for your particular application.
Can CIP chemical additives be used in both high and low pH solutions?
Yes, there are specific CIP chemical additives formulated for use in both high and low pH cleaning solutions. Each type is optimized to perform effectively within its designated pH range, ensuring efficient soil and deposit removal.
Can CIP chemical additives help with microbial control?
Yes, our CIP chemical additives are formulated to enhance microbial control by breaking down biofilms and eliminating bacteria. This helps maintain a sanitary environment, crucial for industries such as food and beverage processing and pharmaceuticals.
What are the lead times and shipping options?
Less Than Truckload shipment on 55-Gallon Drums, 275-Gallon Totes, and Bulk Tanker Truck deliveries.

Expect an estimated 7 Day Lead Time on all orders in Drums and Totes. Reach out to a member of our team for more details on Bulk Delivery Lead Times
